As pioneers of utilizing LED technology in automotive lighting with 25 years of proficient knowledge and competences in electronics and mechanical construction, we have used an integrated 360° approach in the development of sophisticated lighting products. The results are one of a kind innovative lighting products, which successfully solve all the challenges of the latest cutting edge LED technology.
Through our 360° approach every single component of the luminaire is studied and treated from a totally new perspective in order to achieve highest possible overall product quality, high energy efficiency, one of the best illumination performance and maximum life expectancy.
Every luminaire made on our modern production line, consists of top quality Samsung LEDs merged on our own patented LED GENION bar™, special in-house developed full cutoff QUADRUM optics™, precisely customized I-NFINITY driver™ and optimized cooling system COOLVERT™, all compactly enclosed in durable, aerodynamic housing AEROCOMPACT™ with modern design. The result is a unique MATRIX 3D light™ with ultra optimized lighting performance and uniformity.
Quality LED light sources are one of the most important parts of LED luminaire. In our LED street lights we are using only top quality, award winning SAMSUNG LEDs, which deliver one of the best efficacy, color quality, light output and one of the longest life time expectancies. SAMSUNG LEDs exceed ENERGY STAR® requirements, contain no mercury or lead, and are RoHS and REACH Compliant.
Through our special treatment method, we customize SAMSUNG LEDs and merge them into our specially engineered patented LED modules – LED GENION bars™, where every single LED position is precisely calculated and positioned under certain angles.
LED GENION bars™ exploit every LED source to the fullest extent and function in synergy with other crucial components of luminaire in order to achieve the best possible illumination results.
Optics in connection with the electronic driver and the LED bar is the most important part of system, which affects appropriate illumination output of the luminaire. Our specially developed, QUADRUM optics™ consists of thin prismatic nano treated lenses made from optically optimized polymers, which contributes to incredibly low losses within primary optical part. Light beams from primary optical parts gather again in a repulsively collective and reflective 3D grid made from highly shined silver-plated alluminium, where a unique MATRIX 3D light™ shape for optimal covering of surfaces is formed.
QUADRUM optics™ meets the requirements for IESNA classification FULL CUTOFF performance, meaning no light or direct glare is emitted above the horizontal line of the luminaire. In comparison with semi-cutoff, cutoff and noncutoff only, FULL CUTOFF optics completely prevents light pollution and is the best solution to reduce electrical power usage. The light output is in accordance with the strictest IESNA and IDA requirements for qualiting lighting.
Every single light beam has been controllably directed through our QUADRUM optics™ to distribute individual light beams exactly on the spot where it has been calculated. All lighting spots together form unique MATRIX 3D LIGHT™, which increases the utilization rate of light on the surface, reduces glaring and allows for the best possible light uniformity.
LSL® LED street lights have asymetric MATRIX 3D light™ distribution. In addition to covering the road surface, with asymetric MATRIX 3D light™ which dramatically improves traffic safety, we also vertically illuminate objects next to road and therefore increase safety for pedestrians. The full cutoff feature in combination with asymetric MATRIX 3D light™ enables reducing the light pollution to zero point, preservation of night sky, serene night sleep – better life quality and satisfies strictest environmental standards of International Dark Sky Organization.
The color temperature of our luminaires was carefully chosen, since it is important that light displays true colors of illuminated objects by night, and is both pleasant and human eye friendly at the same time.
Light color temperature of 4200 K – BIO light™ is used due to its numerous advantages.
This particular color temperature has the best balance between natural color distribution, overall brightness, efficiency, and pleasantness to the human eye at night. Since it shows the real color of illuminated objects, it dramatically increases overall traffic safety.
The LED driver is a self-contained power supply that has outputs matched to the electrical characteristics of LED modules, so understanding the electrical characteristics is critical in selecting a driver circuit.
Due to our specific needs, we have gone one step further and developed customized I-NFINITY driver™ (100-250 V), which self-adapts to voltage fluctuations, accepts various kinds of regulation (e.g., dimming reduction) and can withstand a direct current strike according to ENEC.
With the use of pulse-width modulation (PWM), the I-NFINITY driver™ enables low thermic losses, smaller flux of electric current through coil and consequently lower temperatures.
The result is the optimal condition for operation of LED luminaire, best energy efficient output with lowest possible electricity consumption, and therefore significantly reduced CO2 emissions.
The patented AEROLITE™ cooling system works on the natural aerodynamic principle of air convection.
By accelerating the surrounding convective air flow we are improving cooling efficiency to its limits.
With the help of the most modern, state of the art, computer software for calculation and simulation of thermic transfer, we researched and analyzed the temperature change direction around a particular location of the unit.
Combining these findings, advanced materials and state of the art patented housing we achieved one of the most optimized dimensional air and temperature flows that produces the best possible cooling effect – COOLVERT™ solution.
With the combination of a high utilization rate, special production method and high-performing bionic COOLVERT™ solution, we can transfer heat much more efficiently and precisely where it occurs, below the LEDs, which is our key to produce one of the best luminaires with the longest life time expectancy.
While designing housing, the goal was to create casing which survives extreme weather conditions while supporting important functions and protecting vital parts of the luminaire.
According to the latest bionic studies, the housing shape was inspired by imitating living systems from nature and adapting observed living functions to practical purposes. Some elements of the housing design were also inspired from theaviation industry, especially from the shape of one of the most aerodynamic super sonic passenger airliners, “The Concorde”.
The result is a modern fully sealed inflow resistant AEROCOMPACT casing™, which has
NO openings, NO cooling ribs and NO additional ventilators as most of our competitors´ products have.. Aerolite LSL® is elegant, ultra slim, highly efficient, wind-resistant and the most aerodynamic street luminaire available on the world market.
Beside the unique innovative shape of the housing and it’s technical perfection we also assured extreme durability. The housing of our lights is made of super light aluminium alloy, treated with ULTRA COATING™ – special multi layer galvanic protection and final special color finish from highly durable polymers. We are using the same procedure which is used for treating the most demanding parts of the undercarriage in the automotive industry and therefore we achieved “permanent appearance of new”.
Aerolite LSL®, taking into consideration natural laws and the unique shape of it’shousing, allows for a self-cleaning feature. Its special shape allows that most of the dirt slides off the luminaire with the help of nature (wind and rain). Additionally water converges from the housing without retention and cleans the whole housing. With a special siphoning edge for liquids (rain drops) we also protect glass from the raindrop dirt and therefore maintain same level of light performance.
The robust housing of Aerolite LSL and ECO® luminaire is resistant against external mechanical impacts (shock, vibration, etc., and is protected against energy at the impact of 5 Joule) according to acquired rating IK10. With high quality insulation, specially protected electronics and fully sealed housing, the luminaire ingress protection rate is IP66. This means that the luminaire is completely protected against contact and ingress of dust. In addition, powerful water jets from any direction have no harmful effects against the enclosure.
With our fully integrated, Lighting 6.0 ™ approach to lighting, we have also developed HIGH TECH MULTIFUNCTIONAL DEVICES, that brings extra high added value.
LED lights are readily available for seamless upgrade of the system for different multifunction options (light management via online-integrated network, wireless internet connection- WIFI, security cameras, other security applications, video control, remote control, speed sensors, light sensors, emergency switches, etc.).
