Grah Lighting as the integral part of SG Automotive Group has more than 25 years of experiences with development and production of automotive LED lights, wire harnesses and many other high tech electronic parts for automotive industry.
Grah Lighting was established as a division for the LED street and industrial light program of the company SGA (Schefenacker Grah Automotive – SG Automotive d.o.o.), which is a trusted partner and supplier for leading car manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, Maserati, Maybach, Rolls Royce, VW, Ford, GM, Nissan, Volvo, Toyota, Alfa Romeo, Cadillac, Chrysler, Fiat, Lancia, Opel, Renault, Rover and SAAB.
It is one of the few if not the only company in the world which manufactured LED street lights based on the most advanced automotive production line under strictest quality automotive control standards (Automotive IATF 16949).

Different departments work closely together during the process of design and development. Highly skilled professionals are using 25 years of SG Automotive experience and know-how gained in the automotive industry. Construction teams contribute its knowledge to the development of ideas. The Design teams applies the requirements and arrives at innovations that are then tested in the application laboratory. The entire process is monitored by experts in Quality Management to ensure that standards and legal specifications are adhered to. We are able to produce, in house, a complete solution at all levels of development.
The whole design process strives to achieve the concept where form follows function, which means that design supports the products´ function to the fullest extent possible. While searching the best functional design solutions, new findings from bionics are also taken into consideration. We have developed unique internal procedures for every level of the design process, which enables us to quickly define possible issues or concerns. With this innovative approach and creative problem solving techniques we are able to find the optimal solution for most demanding technical challenges.
Our factory has modern laboratories, superior robotization and all necessary tools which assists us in implementing fresh ideas through 3D modeling of prototypes and final products. We are testing and using new high quality materials under various conditions to find their best combination for prototypes. These are then tested by the latest software in the laboratories, which simulate different conditions of the aging process. After the prototype successfully undergoes all testing, it goes through demanding phases of certification and final production.
The most advanced production line with latest automation technology, which was developed for the strictest requirements of automotive industry, gives us an unparrelled base for production of energy efficient LED lights. We are constantly improving work processes and modernizing the production equipment (3D robotic technology for applying gasket, orthopedical adapted working places, etc.). We have developed our own manufacturing procedures at different stages of the production line in order to optimize time and processes.
Consistent use of quality control as defined in acquired standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and constant optimization of control procedures are our key to success. Strict quality control of 3 steps executed by human and robotic check points is implemented at every stage of production. This assures the reliability and performance of final products.
The factory is located in one of the greenest parts of central Europe, in the Slovenian town of Slovenske Konjice. Our production is without harmful substances and pollution free with an implemented waste management system. This reflects our high regard for nature and and the environment and demonstrates our social responsibility and commitment to fully stand behind our products as we represent them.
